The Energy and Climate Research Unit of Knowledge Hub Institute generates evidence-based research, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement on decarbonization, climate resilience, and sustainable energy transitions in Bangladesh. The unit assesses renewable energy adoption, industrial decarbonization, and climate-resilient infrastructure, conducts sectoral and thematic analyses on fiscal and regulatory instruments, carbon markets, and green financing, and evaluates policy frameworks for climate adaptation and mitigation. It focuses on community-based adaptation and the mainstreaming of climate considerations into development planning. The unit produces knowledge products that contribute to policy and academic discourse through systematic research and dissemination for supporting low-emission, inclusive, and economically sustainable development.
